I have recently discovered Alienated Pimp Theology. It is an interesting little blog where two Harvard Law Students pose random “Jon Questions” as I call them and then answer these questions.
These two scholars disect the very souls of these questions and a long the way make me laugh a whole hell of a lot. Sometimes I agree, sometimes I disagree, everytime I laugh.
Okay, most people I know have pretty strong feelings about what’s going on in the world. I generally disagree with a lot of what this film has to say, [End disclaimer] but nonetheless, it’s just one of the funniest shorts I’ve seen. (Gavi in particular should love this.)
Michael Moore investigates the real reasons behind the War in Middle Earth..
You can now watch the The Sundance Film Festival Shorts in competition online:
Sundance Shorts
You must watch ‘The Pity Card.’ Where is the worst place to take a girl on the first date? Go. Now. Watch.
Also Robin’s Big Date, with a great cast.
There are all really great; kudos to Sundance and the filmmakers.

UPDATE: Gopher Broke to Become a Feature Film
We can only hope the same will be true of the other aformentioned shorts..
Okay, some big goings-on going on backstage here at cinemalog, hopefully a lot of it will become public pretty soon.
Nathan has destroyed my life be introducing me to the most evil, time-consuming game ever: The Falling Sand Game.
Also, despite being blonde himself, he linked to what is (without a doubt) the funniest blonde joke of all time.
Enjoy these links; combined they should keep you occupied through 2007.
EDIT: Falling Sand Hell.
Ah, memes.
Nader over at Brand Infection is linking a beautiful peace of video.
I can entice you with a description, but that would ruin it. Please, just watch it. (Yes, it’s corporate branding, but it’s a fanastic vid.) Check it out.
Remember the post where Bush met with Genghis Kahn?
Well, he’s at it again. Guess who he met with this time?
Yes. Robot Astronaut Albert Einstein.
I’m telling you, he’s going to team up with the Ninja Turtles. Any day now.
Found: A funny webcomic:
ShaBot 6000 is the continuing cartoon saga of a pious Jew who purchases a robot to work as Shabbos Goy for his household.
The inquisitive robot, ShaBot, decides that he is Jewish, and is therefore unable to fulfill his duties as servant. ShaBot spends his days asking questions about Judaism.
The comic is by ‘Ben Baruch,’ who is a direct descendant of the Gra.
This should interest Zach.
Someone has designed the perfect paper airplane.
Firefox 1.5 is out, now with del.icio.us integration (thanks Nathan).
All shall download or perish.
Also, Warren Ellis‘ podcast, The Apparat Programme, is now up to episode 8. Changing the name from Superburst Mixtape seems like bad branding, but his money is invested in the Apparat Brand, so what do I know.
At any rate, he hunts down interesting music (usually from myspace, mperia, or the artists themselves.) Well worth checking out. I have to use some of this music in vids.
